Arduino Format Adapter Boards
Use an Arduino Uno with a Mega shield! Five formats supported – very limited number available.
Arduino fans! We have a very limited number of these adapter boards and have decided to sell them off here cheap.
This board allows you to interconnect processor boards and shields which are different formats (using an Uno to drive a Mega shield for example).
It supports Mega, Uno, Micro, Nano, and MKR Zero form factors. Powers, grounds, Rx’s, Tx’s, analog and digital pins are all connected to their best equivalents in each form factor for maximum compatibility and usability. See the schematic if you have specific questions or concerns about connections.
Both sides are silkscreened, and every single pin is labeled on both sides to make life easier. There’s a hole in each corner so you can use standoffs to support your creation.
Note that the display in the pictures is not included in the offer. Also not included are headers and sockets, or any active or passive components, for example 5V<->3V level shifting. It’s simply the bare PCB. Check the schematic if you have questions or concerns about what’s connected to what.
As we said, there are only a handful of these. We’re selling them for $5 each while they last in hopes of covering our lunch tab. We will pay shipping costs via USPS to a U.S. address. Any international shipping costs would be your responsibility. Because of the small cost of the boards and the fact that aren’t any replacements, all sales are final.
If you would like one, please email techie[at]TechIsSoCool.com with the subject ‘Adapter Board’. We’ll send you PayPal invoice for $5 (plus international shipping if applicable), which can be paid with Venmo, a debit card, a credit card, or yes, PayPal. Pay the $5 and we will mail the board to you within 24 hours.
If you have questions on the board read through the comments or leave a comment on our Facebook post for the board, or email.
